Trinity Place a Lutheran Services Carolinas community is seeking a Housekeeping Aide to join its team. Your Role
As a Housekeeping Aide you will help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:
- Dusting sweeping and mopping assigned areas
- Emptying and sanitizing trash receptacles
- Cleaning bathrooms and fixtures
- Wiping down walls and chrome fixtures
- Reporting maintenance needs and safety hazards
- Upholding confidentiality and courteous communication
- Participating in ongoing training and reflecting our mission and values in your work
- Applicants will also be cross-trained for Laundry duty as well
What Were Looking For
- Ability to read write and follow instructions
- Experience with cleaning or housekeeping preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs regularly and perform tasks requiring standing bending and climbing
Work Environment
- Indoor and occasional outdoor work
- Potential exposure to cleaning agents and rarely to blood and body fluids
