TheService Managerposition is responsible fordirecting and coordinating customer service activities by conferring with customers and representatives to evaluate and maintain good customer relations servicing accounts in a timely manner resolving complaints and ensuring effective communications.
The individual in this role also develops and grows business through the management of service to achieve targeted sales and gross profit margins while monitoring and controlling service expenses to ensure income is maintained at the highest possible administer all company safety policies and training according to established procedures along with ensuring conformance to company policies and best practice. Engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager including planning evaluating organizing reporting and integrating. Responsible for overseeing staff conducting performance evaluations training and development of staff etc.
Seeking candidates with previous experience leading and managing a team in a service industry. Background in service operations and comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment repair procedures and applications preferred.
The individual in this position should be a responsible problem solver proactive reliable team player ethical leader and able to adapt to the forces around themcustomers suppliers department employees and co-workers. The Service Manager must be as comfortable managing other people as they are reporting to management.
Education Training & Experience:
College Degree and/or service experience.
Skills Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal and customer/employee relations skills.
Strong leadership management and sales skills.
Great communication skills (written and verbal).
Willingness to learn new technology.
Working knowledge of office equipment operations
Highly motivated and driven by meeting/exceeding company goals.
Knowledgeable about our equipment and the market.
