The selected candidate will:
- Evaluate new item/parts or our products for feasibility in respect to use handling servicing maintaining function and practicality
- Assist Technical Service Support and Product Management departments in finding alternatives and solutions to problems.
- Assist in inspecting and evaluating defective items returned under warranty.
- Instruct and support theTraining Department for Kaeser service and maintenance schools.
- Assist with performing compressor performance test in the field and in-house.
- Provide technical assistance to Branches Distributors and customers as required.
- Provide telephone and email troubleshooting support to the Technical Service Support department
- Extensive travel to the jobsite 30% or more
Required Qualifications
The successful candidates background will include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Extensive hands-on and practical experience in the air compression industry or a minimum of 3 years industrial equipment mechanical aptitude.
- Extensive experience reading mechanical blueprints and electric diagrams.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
- Good communication skills/phone skills required
- Computer skills including proficiency in Google Workspace
- SAP experience preferred
- Regular physical attendance at the worksite
