Position Summary

The Cyber Digital Team at Chubb is actively seeking a Digital Concierge applicant to join their ranks. This position is primarily focused on underwriting support of Cyber and Technology E&O New and Renewal Business opportunities specifically for commercial clients whose revenues are less than $100 million and mainly transacted through online platforms. You will play a crucial role in Agent and broker interaction with assessing risks analyzing requests for action fulfilling external party servicing needs transacting business and performing underwriting functions and promoting Chubbs service capabilities to foster growth and profitability of the cyber insurance candidate must be highly motivated to succeed have strong communication skills both verbal and written and have a strong desire to learn with a willingness to embrace change.

Additional cross training to products may occur with our BOP Commercial Auto Workers Compensation and Umbrella products.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serves as first level of contact for agent inquiries contract questions pricing questions system training needs and post bind service requests within designated underwriting authority.
  • Researches and gathers appropriate information and responds to those inquiries within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Communicates directly with agents both verbally (phone) and/or in writing (email) as required.
    • When outside of designated authority or expertise forwards to respective business team with supporting research and documentation.
    • When within designated authority; evaluates accepts rejects or modifies risks within established underwriting guidelines and compliance regulations. Complies with corporate standards procedures business strategies and rating plans.
  • Assists with completion of post bind transactions including but not limited to: new business endorsements BORs rewrites and cancellations as assigned.
  • Utilizes workflow management system and team mailbox along with additional technologies to manage daily workload to meet Service Level Agreements with underwriters and agents/brokers
  • Builds and maintains a resultoriented relationship with the agents and underwriters to drive overall results including new business premium growth overall profitability and account retention.
  • Performs other duties as required to best serve insured team and management needs.



Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Commercial insurance principles and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skillsability to establish trust and effective working relationships with othersboth external and internal stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong communication Skills including the ability to provide phone support to our agents and listen effectively; to confidently and diplomatically express decisions outcomes conduct training etc. to our agents; and present effective written communication to varied audiences.
  • Self-motivated; must be able to work independently and within a team/group environment and make logical decisions.
  • Demonstrates initiative as evidenced by ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Exceptional understanding of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This includes meeting established time and quality standards ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Proven analytical skills including the ability to identify and report problems or errors while working with significant amounts of detailed information.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates success in negotiation and building collaborative relationships
  • Ability to use companys commercial rating and policy issuance systems and other software programs (MS Word Excel and Outlook) needed to conduct daily business.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Insurance experience preferred
