Role details:
The Business Analyst role requires proficiency in analyzing requirements gathered from stakeholders and business partners and documenting the same to technical requirements. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholder (requirements) and the development team ensuring that requirements are understood and translated into actionable user stories. Additionally helping the business Product Manager (and delegate) in gathering requirements and removal of impediments to progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Elicitation and Documentation: Analyze and document technical requirements based on the business requirements/use case provided.
- Product Management: experience with product backlog management grooming features and user stories.
- Tool functionality: A quick learner with an appetite to learn the overall functionality of our inhouse workflow tool to help document technical requirements.
- Working with the Development Team: To ensure the development team understands the requirements and can build solutions that meet the business needs.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and delegate: Support the Business Product Manager and delegate in acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove roadblocks that hinder the teams progress.
- Business Acumen: Understand business needs goals and the overall context of the project.
- Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Facilitation: Foster a collaborative and self-organized team environment.
Key Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
- Familiarity with technology enablement of Model Management Life Cycle or Software Development Life Cycle (a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
