Job Description
Position: AWS Cloud Architect
Location: Mount View CA onsite
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Architect with strong expertise in designing implementing and managing large-scale cloud and hybrid environments. The role involves leading AWS cloud architecture strategy setting up secure foundations managing Kubernetes clusters and enabling multi-cloud integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud architecture design across AWS and hybrid/multi-cloud environments
- Build and manage AWS foundations (Landing Zone IAM SSO Transit Gateway VPN)
- Design and implement hybrid Kubernetes clusters (EKS EKS Anywhere Rancher Anthos)
- Define security compliance and governance frameworks (Security Hub Inspector KMS)
- Conduct Well-Architected Reviews for reliability scalability and cost optimization
- Collaborate with network and security teams for seamless cloud-to-on-prem connectivity
Required Skills:
- 8 years of cloud architecture experience with strong hands-on AWS expertise
- Proficiency with Landing Zone Control Tower IAM Transit Gateway VPC design
- Strong Kubernetes hands-on experience (EKS Rancher Anthos OpenShift)
- Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform CloudFormation Ansible)
- Understanding of cloud security/compliance (PCI-DSS GDPR HIPAA)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (or equivalent advanced certification)
- Experience with large-scale/multi-country cloud transformations
- Exposure to AI/ML or analytics integration with cloud-native services
- Strong consulting/enterprise customer-facing background
