Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in assessing and evaluating current virtual computing infrastructure and provide recommendations for enhancements.
- Assist in drafting documentation performing root cause analysis and recommending possible solutions.
- Participate in requirements gathering and drafting runbook/ work instructions for routine tasks.
- Assist in internal and external security audits vulnerability assessments and tracking vulnerabilities until closure.
- Adhere to existing governance policies and processes to ensure non-compliance incidents are minimized.
- Assist in reviewing recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system resilience.
- Recommend implementation of automation tools and scripting (e.g. PowerShell Bash) to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Review infrastructure patch updates ensuring systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches.
- Assist in reviewing and maintaining documentation for system configurations procedures and infrastructure diagrams.
- Manage and track outstanding issues for resolution and closure with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage records retention document filing and housekeeping for the Systems Process.
- Any other tasks assigned by the dept.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma holder preferably in computer science information technology or a related field.
- Preferably with some working experience and knowledge in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with government security requirements will be an advantage.
- Strong customer experience mindset listening understanding and responding to customer needs.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Possess a positive and agile working attitude.
- Meticulous in tracking tactful and willing to learn.
- Multi-tasking able to work under pressure.
- Team player with good written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
