Job Description
About the role
Responsible for assisting the lawyers on a range of dispute resolution matters within the practice group.
These will include (but are not limited to):
- Assist in coordinating electronic filing of legal documents and deploying technology tools for disputes work
- Prepare and organise documents and evidentiary materials and assisting counsel to prepare for depositions hearings trials or other courtroom proceedings
- Provide legal research drafting and case-management support
- Assist and maintain databases and provide support to e-discovery project management and other legal technology projects
About the candidate
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or Diploma in Law
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Self-starter who is able to demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude to their work
- Comfortable working across multiple cultures and time zones
- Strong interpersonal skills positive attitude and team spirit
- High degree of attention to detail and excellent project management skills
- Tech-savvy and open to learning to use technology tools to manage disputes work
- Contributes to the effective functioning of the team.
