Job Summary
At PwC our people in business application consulting specialise in consulting services for a variety of business applications helping clients optimise operational efficiency. These individuals analyse client needs implement software solutions and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a Guidewire developer at PwC you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration claims management and billing. You will be responsible for designing coding and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations.

As part of the Business Application Consulting team you play a vital role in enhancing operational productivity improving customer experience and fostering innovation through the implementation of advanced technologies and streamlined workflows. As a Senior Associate you analyze complex problems mentor others and maintain exemplary standards. You focus on building client relationships and developing a deeper understanding of the business context guiding the team on tasks and supporting sprint planning while collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess current systems and design future state systems.

What You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree

What Sets You Apart
- Proven proficiency in GW Integration Mechanisms
- Proficiency in Gosu Classes and Enhancements
- Experience with Java and J2EE
- Skilled in Microservice and Spring Boot
- Advanced analytical and estimation skills
- Experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology
- Insurance domain knowledge
- Leadership in team leading and code review
- Experience in at least two Guidewire implementations
