This fixed term opportunity is expected to run until August 2026 and is an opportunity to showcase your strategic leadership and problem-solving skills.
Bring this experience to lead and support the Ministrys work to provide advice on the parameters rules and incentives which govern the health system.
Joining the Strategy Group you will have a part in influencing the strategic direction for the health system to improve New Zealands health outcomes.
We provide high quality policy advice to the Ministers and government to inform the decisions they make on the health portfolio at a system level.
Within the Strategy Group the System Accountability and Settings team is responsible for designing embedding and reviewing the settings that hold the health system accountable for delivering on government priorities statutory functions and public expectations.
In this role you will lead and contribute to high-impact cross cutting work focused on improving how the system is designed directed and held to account. This includes:
