Job Description
Yokogawa is looking for a
Junior Internal Auditor
Fulltime Travelling
You finished your studies in Finance and have some years of experience in Finance and/or Auditing. You wish to work at a large corporation where you can learn a lot about various parts of business processes of various companies. For our Internal Audit Department we are looking for an Internal Auditor within Yokogawa Europe who can work independently and precise and can travel a week abroad per audit.
How does your role as Internal Auditor look like
You will conduct financial and operational audits on topics such as Business Process reviews Accounting Governance and Risk Management. The audits will be performed together with your manager. After completing the audit the feedback will be given to local management and together you formulate the suggestions for improvements. It is important that the reporting is correct. Especially as the Internal Auditing Department directly reports to Tokyo (where the global HQ is located).
These audits are not only performed remotely but you also conduct some at Yokogawa locations throughout Europe such as Madrid Spain and Izmir in Turkey. As you are working with different cultures at every location you are quickly able to adapt and keep a strong relationship with the stakeholders there while maintaining the high standard that is expected from you. As travel is a part of your role setting priorities and working structurally is a key aspect of the job.
Finally you will be asked to join process-based special audits if there are any suspicions that things seem to go wrong. This can be from project reviews up to (possible) fraud assessments. For this you have to be able to act on facts not on emotion while also being able to make decisions quickly.

Does this sound great Great! All we ask for is the following:
- A BSc/MSc in Finance Accounting or Economics
- 2 to 5 years of experience in finance ideally with some experience with auditing
- Full proficiency in English
- Proficient in Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- The ability to travel throughout Europe for work once in a while (10-15%).
It would be considered an advantage when you also have experience with SAP and knowledge of Risk Management.
