About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and detail-orientedDemand Planning Managerto join our team in this key role you will lead forecasting and planning efforts working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand forecasts optimize inventory levels and support business growth across multiple markets and sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective demand planning strategies to forecast product needs across various markets and distribution channels.
- Collaborate with teams in Sales Marketing Finance and Supply Chain to gather insights and align on forecast assumptions.
- Analyze historical sales data market trends and customer behavior to identify patterns and improve forecast accuracy.
- Partner with the Product Lifecycle Management team to support the introduction of new products and manage the phase-out of existing ones.
- Work with the Supply Planning team to maintain optimal inventory levels minimize product shortages and reduce excess stock.
- Create and present reports and performance metrics to monitor forecasting accuracy and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends market changes and competitor activity to proactively adjust forecasting strategies.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in demand planning forecasting or integrated business planning ideally within the medical device or healthcare sector.
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of best practices in supply chain management.
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and drawing actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior leadership.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with demand planning software is a plus.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across departments.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business or a related field.
- Professional certification in supply chain or forecasting is preferred.
