Role Overview:

The Knowledge Team supports our firm by the planning and execution of demanding research projects for diverse topics and industries as well as the interpretation evaluation and preparation of results. We are currently seeking a Research Analyst who will be focused on Finance & Risk (FRR) within the banking and finance sector. The Research Analyst role will be embedded within Oliver Wymans Financial Services Practice requiring strong collaboration with the Senior Research Analyst (Finance & Risk) Financial Services Research Manager Practice leaders Consultants and Senior Practice-Aligned Consultants.

As a Research Analyst supporting Finance & Risk you will work closely and collaborate with the Senior Research Analyst for Finance & Risk. With time training and mentorship you will grow your brand build knowledge and expertise with the financial services -time you will also become a trusted advisor. You will execute analysis sense-check and deliver results that are story-lined. You will also demonstrate a desire to grasp client impact by asking impactful and relevant questions and applying your industry knowledge. Over time you will build professional relationships with the practice heads partners and stakeholders. You will attend monthly FRR practice meetings and firm events.

The Research Analyst role requires a collaborative and creative thinker with a strong analytical mindset who can thrive in the fast-paced environment of a management consultancy. As a key resource for the practice you will deliver impactful research and insights while building relationships with practice leaders and stakeholders. You will synthesize information from diverse sources including proprietary databases and industry reports to provide actionable recommendations. Staying current on emerging trends and regulatory changes in the banking and financial services sector will be essential to enhancing your analysis and making you a success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to collaboration is creative proactive and has a mind-set for continuous learning.
