AWS Japan Specialist team is looking for an exceptional Sales/GTM leader who is excited about AI/ML in Japanese customers and specifically the opportunities of Generative AI (GenAI). The candidate will join our fast growing AIML Specialist sales team and lead our sales/GTM helping the customers to adopt GenAI technologies
In this role you will lead sales activities for our GenAI services such as Amazon Bedrock Amazon SageMaker develop customer use cases for GenAI adoption and drive the go-to-market initiatives across Japanese customers together with each account team. As the leader of Japan AIML Specialist team you will lead strategic business development activities and engage with customers to influence and accelerate GenAI adoption.
The role requires a professional who is experienced in sales opportunity management and business development. The ideal candidate will have (1) expertise operating in entrepreneurial and highly matrixed environments (2) the ability to translate customer requirements into technology solutions with a specialty in AI/ML (3) the capability influence customers CXO and help them right decision to adopt technologies and 4) the ability to build and operate highly motivated highly skilled team.
Key job responsibilities
Drive revenue for AWS AI/ ML services and meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
Develop the GenAI go-to-market strategy to achieve high growth.
Negotiate and close large complex GenAI opportunities with senior leaders within the customers. Involve AWS internal stakeholders including the service team and meet the customer expectation.
Hire and Develop AI/ML specialists foster the right team culture
10 years of technology related sales or business development experience.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
5 years direct field experience working with enterprise accounts.
3 years working domain experience in machine learning artificial intelligence or related technologies
Manage contract negotiations along with the core sales organization.
Business level or higher communication skills in both Japanese and English is must.
Technical degree required; MBA Computer Science and/or Engineering/Math background highly desired; working knowledge of AI/ML. GenAI technologies highly desired.
