Amazon is looking for staffing leads (recruiters/procurement) that are motivated to lead mass recruitment programs for Amazons logistics sites (Customer Fulfillment Amazon Transportation Services Amazon Logistics or Global Specialty Fulfillment). Staffing Leads take the lead in securing personnel to achieve smooth receipt and shipment at logistics hubs. They are highly motivated and flexible to drive operational excellence for Workforce Staffing (WFS) with its major business partners.
A successful candidate must demonstrate strong consulting skills exceptional ability to influence organizational expertise strong verbal and written communication skills and a passion for building data driven programs that improve business operations. They are self-motivated solutions-oriented comfortable with ambiguity and innovative in developing best-in-class programs.
Staffing Leads input optimal information to teams that plan and execute recruitment plans (posting job advertisements etc.).
Progress in securing personnel will be shared through regular meetings with those responsible for logistics base operations. If issues arise the team will work together to resolve them.
Staffing Leads secure the necessary personnel through negotiations with temporary staffing agencies as well as fill Amazon direct roles.
Have a rigorous approach to problem solving and analytics as well as produce interpret and draw conclusions from data
Provide expertise and technical/operational guidance to the stakeholders and operations leaders
Anticipate bottlenecks provide escalation management anticipate and make tradeoffs as well as balance business needs versus constraints
Establish business priorities identifying and communicating risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders; developing and maintaining goals milestones and completion dates
Be comfortable presenting ideas to senior level stakeholders receptive of feedback and quick to apply changes
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion
Have a combination of practical and intellectual skills as well as ability to rapidly shift and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses hands-on projects and project management
Key job responsibilities
Identify potential issues in the hiring process and ensure corrective actions/escalations are completed
Deep dive operational metrics to improve performance trouble-shoot defects and create remedial actions to meet goals.
Interact directly with Business Analysts involved in operational planning and engage in seek to understand discussions related to metric methodology and validation
Perform customer/partner needs and task analysis scope projects and evaluate existing processes to propose solutions
Regular opportunities to participate and work with team members around the world in English though in person/virtual meetings reports emails etc.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience in recruiting especially high volume hiring both within direct hiring and outsourcing capacities
- Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 level)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience in conducting investigative work including claimant witness and target employee interviews investigative data analysis and production of investigative documentation
- Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
- Business level English
