Role brief
Workday Learning Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting
organizational initiatives related to learning management and training planning processes
according to the defined framework. This role involves implementing and managing learning
programs using Workday Learning to achieve the company's training and development goals.
Core Responsibilities
Provide guidance on strategies policies and programs that align with business objectives and
support learning and training requirements.
Support the execution of Learning and the training planning processes.
Support with execution of training and LMS activities and provide adequate guidance to
employees/managers on Workday LMS system
Mass upload of employee LMS/Training data on workday through upload templates
Testing of mass upload data and resolve technical issues while updating data
Build relationships with HR business partners and business leaders to understand the short-
and long-term needs of the business and assess bench strength.
Support HR teams in implementing the training plans and contingency frameworks.
Work and collaborate closely with HR Specialists and ensure that all employees have the
necessary training information and resources to maximize their productivity.
Consult on and test administrative tasks and functions within Workday as per the Business
Requirements Document.
Perform smoke testing for EE Manager and HR roles.
Provide troubleshooting assistance for Workday learning functionality and workflows.
Create and maintain Process Requirements Documentation and annual timelines in
consultation with the customer.
Facilitate annual lessons learned discussions with the customer to identify improvement
opportunities and future focus areas including fit gap assessment and Workday Brainstorm
monitoring.
Facilitate the creation of an annual plan to identify requirements and functionality changes for
Learning processes.
Support issue and risk tracking and communication.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Proven experience in learning and development specifically using Workday Learning.
Strong technical skills with the ability to configure and manage Workday Learning modules.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to analyse training effectiveness and provide actionable insights.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Knowledge of best practices in learning and development.
Experience with Workday Learning module
Worked on HCM system – Workday Learning and workflow tools such as ServiceNow (preferable)
Passion for delivering great employee experience
Fluent in English (written & verbal)
Experience working with HR systems
Need to be passionate about employee experience be energetic and drive and efficiently manage
resolution of every employee query.
Education and work experience requirements
Graduate or Master’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent
With overall 2-5 years of work experience in Talent Development HR processes
Open to work in Rotational shifts
