Job Description

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager T&E Upper Extremities PMO plays a pivotal role in ensuring strategic alignment and effective project management within their business unit. They will work closely with the Upper Extremities Division Operations team to establish an annual strategic plan develop the associated project portfolio and ensure successful project and program execution.

What you will do:

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with T&Es Upper Extremities operations and commercial leadership to align operational strategies with commercial business roadmaps.

  • Develop a robust portfolio of projects supporting operations and commercial business roadmaps.

  • Establish key performance indicators to monitor operational performance track progress and drive continuous improvement

PMO Management:

  • Provide leadership and vision for the T&E Upper Extremities PMO setting clear objectives goals and strategies.

  • Responsible for evaluating a range of programs and projects and other work within the portfolio with the goal of facilitating staffing resolving resource allocation conflicts and monitor staff utilization on the activities that will generate the highest business value aligned with the prioritization process. May recruit hire onboard manage and develop direct staff.

  • Implement project program and portfolio management standards methodologies and best practices to predictably deliver projects.

  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide executive-level reporting on project status risks and performance metrics.

  • Identify project risks develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk throughout the portfolio. Set the tone for appropriate project / program risk-taking.

  • Build and sustain effective stakeholder relationships at all levels particularly with business partners

  • Responsible for ensuring/coaching others in effective meeting management and group facilitation activities for programs/projects in scope of PMO.

What you will need:
BS or equivalent and 10 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired):
PMP or equivalent
MBA and/or MS preferred

Travel Percentage: 20%
