Enterprise Technology and Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for the Firm supporting all business applications and end users. ETSs mission is to ensure the Firm manages its global businesses and serve clients on a marketing-leading technology platform that is resilient safe smart fast flexible and efficient.
Mainframe computing is a department within ETS and responsible for the Firms critical central compute infrastructure.

Position Description:

We are looking for a candidate to join the Technology Finance and Business Management function in Budapest

The successful candidate will report into the local team lead and be part of a wider Technology Finance & BM team. Technology organization is a critical component of Morgan Stanley and the successful candidate will fulfil a role within the team and provide support and oversight across all finance and business management disciplines including expense management annual budgeting / forecasting processes and provide support for a variety of ad hoc management reporting needs. The role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires a strong resource who has excellent excel skills and can operate independently with a delivery-oriented mind-set. Responsibilities:
- Develop analyze and present findings in response to senior management requests (Budget Workforce Program deliverables)
- Partner with IT Super Department leadership Finance Sourcing and Work Force Management
- Drive cross department efforts for annual budgeting/monthly forecasting strategic investments cost efficiency etc.
- Report project cost to multiple levels of stakeholders in a clear concise and transparent fashion
- Develop robust analytics and increase transparency to drive department strategy and management decision making
- Demonstrate good time management resource management ability to prioritize tasks and to meet deadlines across multiple projects - Produce and vet meeting content and materials for the stakeholders

Requirements:

- At least 4 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
- Ability to work across functional disciplines and with all levels of the organization
- Ability to bring teams together toward a common goal who are not directly reporting to the same manager
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment while multitasking
- Demonstrates significant discretion and respect for confidentiality of sensitive information
- Well versed in the project lifecycle project coordination or project management
- Strong Excel skills - able to analyze and manipulate large sets of data to inform stakeholders including shortcuts and formula functions building charts and graphs sorting and filtering data utilizing pivot tables macros - Superior PowerPoint SharePoint Project and general MS Office skills
- Strong problem-solving analytical skills and strategic planning ability
- Understanding of general finance and accounting principles

Nice to have:
- Experience in project and operation management positions in IT Finance or Consulting industries
- Understanding IT infrastructure
- Comfortable with GenAI
