Job Description
The Director Finance will lead the Finance and Operations for Brookfield Global Transition Fund II (BGTF II) which focuses on investing into energy transition and decarbonization solutions. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic entrepreneurial team within a high-growth platform offering meaningful exposure and significant long-term growth potential for high-performing individuals.
The successful candidate will be accountable for overseeing key financial reporting & operations deliverables for Senior Management and other stakeholders. Located in our head office in Downtown Toronto the Director role is a highly visible role that provides excellent exposure to middle and senior leadership levels across various functions of the Brookfield-wide organization.
This role offers the unique opportunity to be involved with several important functions within our team including financial reporting financial operations treasury and liquidity compliance investor relations and business planning and forecasting. The incumbent will be frequently exposed to challenging topics as well as drive continuous improvement across all deliverables. The successful candidate will be a self-starter that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment has excellent interpersonal skills is detail oriented possesses a high degree of intellectual curiosity and has a strong foundation in finance and accounting.
