SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS

Executive Assistant ()

TheSchool of Creative Arts (SCA) comprised of three well-established academic units: theAcademy of FilmtheAcademy of Music andtheAcademy of Visual Arts. Established on July 1 2022 SCA is dedicated to nurturing future-ready talents for Hong Kong and beyond while making a significant impact on society through innovative research and transdisciplinary studies.

The School is now seeking a high-calibre dedicated mature and self-motivated individual to join the Deans Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the academic programme administration including student recruitment admissions quality assurance student records maintenancecourse and examination scheduling committee work student-related matters and promotion activities;
  • Compile reports and proposals while managing records effectively;
  • Organise and coordinate University-level and School-based events such as seminars study tours colloquiums and workshops;
  • Provide support for office administration including processing purchasing requisitions for the School; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in higher education institutions;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Meticulousness good interpersonal and problem-solving skills attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team; and
  • Proficiency incomputer applications including MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese Wordare required.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written/skills assessment.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review and mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
