Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform quantity surveying duties
  • Assisting with claims research and substantiation
  • Prepare and update variation and claim status on a regular basis
  • Measure and value sub-contracts and assist in agreement of sub-contract variations interim and final accounts
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to compile concise and accurate Scopes of Work
  • Handle ad-hoc assignment (contractual / quantity surveying related) as requested

Required Qualification

  • Tertiary qualification or bachelors degree in relevant fields e.g. Quantity Surveying Construction Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years experience in related fields (less experience will be considered as junior post)
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organisation
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (English and Cantonese would be an advantage)
  • The ability to quickly adapt to any given circumstance
  • A positive outlook and be solution focussed
  • Proficiency in MS office applications Word Excel Power Point
