Baker Hughes offers the unique opportunity to work with Industrial Solutions cloud agnostic SaaS solutions leveraging advanced machine learning and AI technologies to uncover patterns from large data sets enabling predictive action for multiple markets operations.

As a Senior Digital Contract Risk Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Being accountable for the overall commercial proposal strategy for the deals that include joint digital product offering
  • Working collaboratively and cross-functionally providing leadership and strategic guidance in a matrix environment to drive optimal proposal results and minimize risk through coordination with Sales Operations Supply Chain Finance Legal and Compliance
  • Driving commercial compliance including commercial process and contracts risk management
  • Exhibiting strong expertise in the development of risk mitigation strategies that consider identified triggers in RFPs and customer T&Cs while meeting business objectives
  • Analyzing/evaluating terms and conditions and lead contract negotiations engaging with customers to close deals
  • Recognizing contract essentials and escalate issues for appropriate resolution
  • Developing negotiation strategy anticipating and removing obstacles to closure
  • Team with sales manager to develop new opportunities and define commercial strategy
  • Negotiate contracts with customers and assuring alignment/approvals from BH side.
  • Support the team analyzing POs wording.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Risk Mitigation or Commercial.
  • Strong communication skills at all business levels including senior leadership;
  • Strong financial management skills;
  • Ability to travel as needed;
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  • Be fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese (oral and written) and have excellent all-round communication skills. Portuguese is preferred.
  • Have significant experience in a Sales/Commercial role with preference for contract risk management contract negotiations and interest in cloud based software as a service artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
  • Be committed to customer service and have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Have good commercial acumen negotiation experience and ability to coordinate several deals simultaneously.
