About the role
Engineer Developer Services (EDS) is a newly formed team part of the Modelling & Engineering division in Operations. M&E are responsible for assessment of high-impact low-probability events review of major power system incidents commissioning of new inter-network capacity between NEM regions power system data and model management and AEMOs data request function. This role leads the maintenance and development of power system engineering focused tools that support M&E functions uplifting AEMO and industry with fit for purpose tools and operational capabilities.
You will be responsible for fulfilling all aspects of the IT Custodian role for tools developed by EDS including the AEMO Modelling Platform Phasor Analytics System and Marginal Loss Factor Calculation. You will support the uplift of engineering developer skills across AEMOs Operations business in alignment with enterprise patterns cyber resilience and ensuring supportability.
