We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team in Hamilton. In this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional day-to-day service to our Commercial Lines clients while supporting the growth and success of our business. You will be a trusted advisor ensuring clients receive the right coverage and solutions for their unique needs. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work both in-office and remotely.
Oversee the day-to-day servicing of a commercial book of business collaborating closely with clients and Sales Professionals.
Review clients current coverage exposures and loss history; analyze risks to determine suitable product and service requirements.
Input and maintain accurate claims and client information.
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries rush assignments and service requests.
Build strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
Negotiate with insurance partners to secure the best risk transfer options.
Document all communications and interactions with clients carriers and partners.
Address questions related to policies coverage and premium payments via phone email or written correspondence.
Prepare and issue binders renewals and other client documents as required.
Manage client account receivables effectively and efficiently.
Minimum 5 years of Commercial Lines experience within a brokerage or insurance company.
Active R.I.B.O. license required; progress towards C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designations considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal communication and listening skills.
Results-driven with the ability to deliver high-quality service.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
A collaborative team player with a proactive and self-motivated mindset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
