Dow has an opportunity to Digital Sales Specialist the professional will be responsible for growing and nurturing existing customer relationships by selling new and existing products as well as generating new customers through a fully digitalized customer experience. Accountable for processes and tasks inherent in the sales process including actioning leads and onboarding new customers educating and positioning customers to partner with Dow through digital channels and leveraging industry & product knowledge to drive sales. The scope is regional and takes care of cross-market-segments.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Develop customer pipeline adding new customers and developing existing customers.
Build strong customer relationships through digital channels and virtual partnership.
Act as ambassador and drive adoption of the platform with customers. Initial account set-up for newly onboarded customers.
Lead price/volume negotiations with customers.
Maintain and update all pricing.
Communicate product availability and lead times; troubleshoot availabilitychallenges.
Guide customers regarding options within the defined service offering.
Gather high-level market intelligence and customer insights; share within Dow.
Lead & Opportunity Management
Grow the portfolio by generating triaging routingdeveloping leads and closing opportunities in line with business strategy.
Maintain and update CRM and internal tools.
Digital Tools and Platforms
Obtain and maintain customer forecasts.
Monitor sales vs. Forecast/plan through digital tools and take action accordingly.
Communicate changes in sales forecasts to Product Managementand Supply Chain
Be an early adopter of new technology support testing for optimizing commercial tools.
Participate in Sales Product/Marketing strategy calls to obtain business and pricing guidelines.
Support annual review of Channelpurchasing strategy (direct/distribution) and segmentation.
Support Order to Cash process to ensure correct invoicing and timely payment collection.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree advanced in English (verbally and in writing).
3 years of commercial related experience.
Your Skills:
Negotiation and sales tactics
Openness and willingness to learn about Dow products and applications.
Proactive hunter with owners mindset & excellent cold calling skills; self-driven and efficient
Effective conflict resolution skills
Technologically savvy & data driven early adopter of new technology.
Proficiency in CRM DSR SmartPrice Microsoft Office
