Job Overview:

The Market & Financial Risk Reporting circle within COOR/Global Risk Services is looking

for a financial risk specialist for Limits Management who is responsible to ensure timely processing of approved limits and review dates in the Global Risk Systems. Limit processing is the last step in the limit approval process. Limit requests come from a variety of stakeholders in different Risk areas such as Counterparty Corporate Intercompany Country and Issuer Risk Management.

The successful candidate has strong time management skills performs well in a fast-paced

and dynamic environment and has a proven track record in managing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

To serve our stakeholders in the best possible way building and maintaining a knowledge base the corner stone of our self-service concept is part of our duties. You work with colleagues from inside and outside the team to provide pro-active end-to-end support for the users of both Front Office and Risk. As part of our workflow we aim to reuse improve and if it does not exist create knowledge and make it available to the entire user community. This results in more operational efficiency self-service and improves our products and services.

As part of the Limits Management the main responsibilities and duties are the following but are not limited to:

Provide hands-on support and advise to our user community in case of questions.

Look for trends and patterns in requests and suggest improvements and changes.

Analyze incoming requests and process limits within the agreed timelines.

Process evidence of limit approval in Library.

Create end user knowledge assets in the form of FAQs manuals instructions etc.

You will need to have affinity with data and be familiar with the fundamental concept of financial risk management.

Key Capabilities/Experience:

  • Education on Bachelor or Master level.
  • Knowledge and working experience on (credit) risk and financial markets concepts products and policies is desirable.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related function;
  • able to quickly get up to speed with (internal) applications used
  • Analytical with a high attention to detail;
  • Proven affinity with financial markets and products;
  • Critical mind-set with respect to what is delivered;
  • Strong team player with hands on mentality;
  • able to work with challenging deadlines
  • Ability to cope with internal and external pressure;
  • able to quickly learn new skills and concepts
  • Communicative accurate and able to work with challenging deadlines

Above all you have a pro-active and learning attitude and strive to continuously improve the performance of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Follow workplace instructions and still able to challenge the process
  • Easily adapt to changing procedures
  • Complete request accurately and timely in adherence to defined KPIs
  • Use MS Office applications and reporting tools Excel Macro/VBA
  • Has relevant work experience but requires formal training in theories/concepts/basic processes of the function.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day processing requirements of the function
  • Perform various structured routine operational tasks in a standard work environment.
  • Handle medium complex processes.
  • Develop knowledge of the internal market and integrates this knowledge into day-to-day activity
  • Works under minimal supervision
  • Perform other assignments as delegated by a senior or Circle Lead
  • Understands the mission and vision of the company and how the department contributes to that
  • Adhere to bank policies and other compliance requirements
