Job Description
- Use basic hand tools effectively to assist in material preparation assembly and finishing tasks.
- Lift and handle materials and components safely using proper techniques and equipment.
- Clean and package finished goods according to company standards ensuring they are ready for delivery to customers.
- Kit sub-assembly parts for production ensuring all necessary components are organized and prepared for the next steps.
- Provide job shadowing and support to team members and other technicians learning from experienced staff and sharing knowledge as needed.
- Prepare materials for production and ensure that they meet production requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area ensuring tools materials and finished goods are stored properly and that all safety regulations are followed.
- OND in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electromechanics Industrial maintenance or a related field.
- 0-2 years experience in a production or manufacturing environment or a similar industry.
- Trade Test Certificate will be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and their safe usage in material handling and preparation tasks.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to assist and learn from colleagues.
- Ability to adapt to changing production needs in a fast-paced environment.
