Data Center Facility Manager

Were seeking an engineering leader to drive operational excellence in our data center environments. Youll be at the forefront of maintaining mission-critical infrastructure solving complex technical challenges and ensuring uninterrupted service for our customers through strategic management and technical expertise.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage and lead shift technicians contractors and vendors to ensure high-quality operational standards
- Oversee multiple data center availability zones implementing strategic infrastructure management
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans that enhance facility efficiency and performance
- Operate and manage critical systems including power distribution generators cooling infrastructure and monitoring systems
- Support facility expansion and infrastructure development projects

A day in the life
Your day will be a blend of strategic planning hands-on technical oversight and team leadership. Youll navigate dynamic environments collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain our data center operations. About the team
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.

- Bachelors or Technical Degree in Engineering or related field
- Demonstrated experience managing teams in mission-critical technical environments
- Proven ability to manage large-scale technical services
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems


- Data Center Engineering Experience
- Experience in mission-critical operations environment (e.g. power facility high technology manufacturing healthcare aviation maintenance oil and gas) preferably linked to a 24/7 uninterrupted operations.
- Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling
