Responsibilities Include:
- Provide sustaining engineering support to production to improve product cost first pass yield and cycle time.
- Perform failure analysis and implement CA/PA (A3 8D FMEA).
- Manufacturing documents preparation provide training and maintaining the process control in production.
- Continuous improvement with Kaizen activities.
- Work closely with R&D to support new product development.
- Transfer install set up and buyoff the new process & equipment.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor or Masters in Engineering or related fields
- > 8 years of Process Engineering or NPI engineering experience
- Familiar with Die Bonding wire bonding or hot bar or automation assembly process.
- Familiar with manufacturing process control tools and method such as SPC DFM FMEA etc
- Familiarity with the design of experiments (DOE) and 8D method
- Data analysis and report preparation skills.
- Self-driven self-motivated and good logical thinking.
- Good command of English communication skills (reading writing and speaking)
- Willing to participate in calls in multiple time zones for NPI project and occasional overseas (Thailand) support other site.
