YOUR FUTURE TEAM & ENGINEERING CULTURE
Our QA team is dedicated to ensuring that every feature we release is robust reliable and delivers a great experience for our customers. Youll be a dedicated tester within one of our four engineering teams working side by side with engineers product managers and other QA colleagues.
While embedded in a specific team youll also collaborate across QA to keep a holistic view of the product and jump in where needed to help qualify releases across JOIN. Your mission: help us ship features to production smoothly without major issues and continuously raise the bar for quality across the organisation.
We care deeply about testing culture and invest in both manual and automated approaches to make sure our processes are fast repeatable and reliable.
Tasks
- Design and execute test plans for web-based features and APIs
- Identify document and track bugs through resolution using issue tracking tools
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure functionality across browsers and devices
- Contribute to the development of automated test suites for regression and smoke testing
- Ensure adherence to quality standards across the development lifecycle
- Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and QA sign-off processes
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer
- Minimum 2 years working on SaaS applications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies: black box white box functional regression and usability testing
- Hands-on experience testing modern web applications in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with test automation tools ideally Playwright (or Cypress)
- Good understanding of browser dev tools HTTP and basic API testing (e.g. Postman)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid/remote setting
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with automated test pipelines (CI/CD)
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows
- Exposure to performance and load testing tools
- Experience with bug tracking systems such as Jira and Testrail
