Are you passionate about making products safer for people and the planet while navigating complex regulatory landscapes At Clariant were seeking a Product Stewardship Specialist to join our diverse Technology & Sustainability team in the Americas. This isnt just a regulatory role-its an opportunity to be a guardian of compliance a champion for safety and an architect of sustainable product journeys across the region.

In this pivotal position reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs - Americas youll bridge cutting-edge chemistry with responsible product management collaborate with brilliant minds from diverse backgrounds and directly impact how safely our products reach the world. Work location will be So Paulo or Suzano (according to candidate preference).


Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to ensure timely availability of regulatory compliance information in Clariant systems.
  • Develop expertise by independently monitoring and understanding regulatory developments in your area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare Clariant systems for upcoming regulatory changes.
  • Build relationships while responding to customer support inquiries regarding regulatory matters.
  • Apply your analytical skills to evaluate and maintain product safety relevant data in SAP systems.
  • Demonstrate your expertise by interpreting dynamic regulatory requirements and assessing their impacts on Clariants product portfolio.
  • Drive innovation by contributing to the continuous optimization of global processes.
  • Coordinate and perform inventory checks and validation as applicable.
  • Showcase your organizational abilities by managing Product Stewardship operations including creation of regulatory documents.
  • Share knowledge and mentor others through stakeholder & customer support network knowledge transfer and training.
  • Protect company interests by monitoring regional regulatory information to ensure timely implementation of compliance measures

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 5 years experience in regulatory affairs/product stewardship in a global/multinational company
  • Understanding of Product Stewardship processes GHS Hazard Classification and project management
  • Knowledge of chemical regulations
  • Analytical thinking communication abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented proactive and collaborative team player
  • Proficiency in English is essential / Spanish intermediate
