Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and driven DevOps Engineer to strengthen our team and play a key role in shaping the future of water and wastewater management. By building robust scalable and secure digital infrastructure youll help us tackle global water challengesbecause every drop counts!
Responsibilities
Build & Maintain Infrastructure: Design implement and manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure to support our digital platforms.
Automate & Optimize: Develop CI/CD pipelines automate deployments and ensure smooth software releases.
Monitor & Secure: Implement monitoring logging and security measures to guarantee platform stability and data protection.
Support Development Teams: Collaborate with developers to improve workflows and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
Enhance Scalability: Ensure our infrastructure can scale efficiently as Waterleau expands its digital offerings.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Continuously explore new DevOps tools and best practices to keep our tech stack modern and efficient.
Competencies/skills
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or equivalent).
Expertise in containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and orchestration.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD etc.).
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or equivalent).
Experience with monitoring & logging tools.
Security mindset: Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and vulnerability management.
Ability to work independently on complex projects and provide solutions to infrastructure challenges.
Passion for water conservation and sustainabilityunderstanding that our work has a real impact.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to balance long-term stability with pragmatic solutions.
Comfortable working in a diverse international environment with both in-office and remote colleagues.
Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure DevOps or platform engineering.
