What youll do
We are looking for a solution-oriented and proactive compliance officer to join our Asia-Pacific will report to the Compliance Lead APAC and will work closely with your fellow compliance professionals investment professionals and others across the firm.
Specifically you will:
- Help enforce our compliance monitoring programs including conducting trade monitoring and due diligence reviews
- Handle compliance regulatory reporting for the Asia-Pacific region
- Provide real-time support with respect to trading restrictions monitoring and approvals
- Track pertinent regulatory changes assess impact on business operations and help amend procedures and communicate changes
- Provide proactive and timely advice on relevant regulatory and firm policy requirements as needed
- Deliver periodic compliance training to employees
- Review and/or draft documentation applications regulatory filings/notifications reports manuals policies/procedures correspondence and records
- Assist with ad-hoc legal and compliance tasks and projects including technology enhancements
Whats REQUIRED
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- At least 10 years compliance experience in a markets compliance role or in a hedge fund environment
- Knowledge of SFC regulations and rules and Asia market regulations
- Strong multitasking organizational and written and oral communications skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin
- Proficiency with Bloomberg and Excel
