Job Purpose
The Market Development Officer is responsible for delivering business objectives through Medium-Sized and Small painters (share gains at existing painters and acquire new painters). S/He will be accountable for all capability development of Painter Reps for handling Medium/Small Painters as well as offtake activities through them.
Key Accountabilities
- Responsible for demand Generation activities / off-take support to the sales team through Medium/Small Painters
- Responsible for the capability development of Painter Reps for handling painters and off-take activities through Medium/Small painters
- Ensure regular engagement with Medium/Small Painters enrolment of new painters revival of inactive painters etc.
- Delivery offtake volume per painter target as per defined norm volume by category/price tier
- Ensure timely communication about new product offerings and promotions to medium- and small-sized painters.
Experience
- The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in FMCG or the sales department of a paint company or sales support.
Education
- The candidate should have a bachelors degree
- Should have complete knowledge and expertise in paint products and associated information
- Should have strong management skills to lead a team of painter reps develop and implement market activation plans and ensure delivery of KPIs
