Associate Director Restructuring

Kroll Restructuring practice aims to provide effective solutions to its clients include major banks asset-based lenders private equity houses accountants solicitors financial sponsors lenders creditors corporates and individuals. We are tasked with assuming direct responsibility for organizations in distressed situations across virtually every industry and every situation.

We are currently seeking an ambitious and qualified candidate with the following attributes to join our Dublin office as an Associate Director. You will be involved in awide range of interesting and challengingdeals often spanning multiple is a unique opportunity to develop your skills ininsolvency restructuring andlitigation supportthrough exposure to working with lenders investors companies and their advisors in distressed and urgent situations.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Director you will take risks and adopt change to solve problems. You will possess a drive for success and the ability to influence others within our Restructuring business.

  • High-profile insolvency and restructuring assignments and investigations and complex cross-border matters involving common law jurisdictions
  • Day-to-day management of engagements such as financial and operational restructuring official and voluntary liquidations other formal and informal insolvency and restructuring procedures receiverships examinerships valuations corporate advisory and investigation assignments
  • Drafting detailed complex reports and documents for Courts and creditors
  • Managing and mentoring junior members of staff
  • Contributing to development of best practice
  • Establishing and developing relationships with potential and current clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field
  • An insolvency accounting or legal background and a qualification from an internationally recognized institution or professional body
  • A minimum of 7 years of recent relevant work experience with a focus on insolvency restructuring and associated investigations
  • Possessing risk tolerance and stress tolerance
  • Good business sense and commercial acumen
  • Ability to practically apply knowledge to identify issues and solve complex problems
  • Strong financial business analytical and report writing skills; and
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
