Job Description

We are seeking a technical and sales-orientedSolutions Architect to join our growing team in Brazil. In this critical role you will be instrumental in driving the sales process by providing deep technical expertise crafting compelling demonstrations and ensuring prospective clients understand the tangible value Torizon delivers. Youll work hand-in-hand with our sales professionals acting as the primary technical voice to prospective customers.

What Youll Do

  • Drive Technical Sales Engagement: Partner directly with the sales team to lead technical discussions with prospective customers translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough technical discovery sessions to uncover customer pain points existing technical stacks and strategic objectives within their embedded and IoT initiatives.
  • Tailored Solution Presentation: Design and deliver engaging customized technical demonstrations and presentations that vividly illustrate how Torizon and its features directly address specific customer challenges and requirements.
  • Technical Sales Consulting: Provide expert technical guidance and consulting during the sales cycle advising customers on optimal ways to integrate Torizon with their hardware and existing systems and addressing technical objections pro actively.
  • Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Leadership: Guide customers through technical evaluations and proof-of-concept projects ensuring successful implementation and showcasing Torizons capabilities in a practical environment.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and refine technical sales collateral including demo scripts architectural diagrams best practice guides and competitive battlecards to empower the broader sales team.
  • Internal Feedback Loop: Act as a conduit between sales and product development communicating customer feedback and market demands to influence future product enhancements.

What Youll Bring

  • 5 years of experience in engineering sales or field application engineering role ideally within the embedded systems IoT or SaaS industries.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills: Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences influencing purchasing decisions.
  • Proven sales support experience: A clear track record of assisting sales teams in closing deals through technical expertise and customer engagement.
  • Solid understanding of Linux: Familiarity with Linux operating systems basic command-line operations and concepts relevant to embedded devices.
  • Foundational understanding of IoT: Knowledge of IoT device connectivity data flow and remote management concepts.
  • Customer-centric mindset: A genuine passion for helping customers solve problems and achieve their goals using technology.
  • Problem-solving aptitude: Ability to quickly understand technical challenges and propose practical effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative: Capable of working independently to manage multiple engagements while also thriving in a team environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Fluency in English is a must. German language skills are a significant plus.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with an operating system or platform product.
  • Familiarity with various hardware architectures for embedded systems.
  • Understanding of secure update mechanisms for devices.
  • Prior experience working with cloud IoT services (AWS IoT Azure IoT Google Cloud IoT).
