Job Description

Overview: Classic D LLC a reputable cabinet manufacturer in Mount Crawford VA specializing in high-quality kitchen cabinetry for residential and hospitality sectors is looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Project Engineer. This position will involve supporting manufacturing processes such as wood finishing automated equipment inventory management material handling product customization assembly and packaging of traditional face-frame and modern euro-style cabinetry.

Location: Mount Crawford VA (On Site)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Industrial Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and basic computer skills.
  • Experience in project management and engineering analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.
  • Identify define and resolve issues in manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in implementing process changes while considering overall operational impact.
  • Lead large projects related to manufacturing improvement or product development.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and apply Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Create technical drawings and specifications as required.
  • Liaise with plant workers across departments to define and solve problems.
  • Provide technical support for software and manufacturing systems.
  • Gather date and perform engineering analysis of processes and components.
  • Prefer hands-on woodworking experience and proven ability to safely operate basic shop tools.
  • Preferred experience with programming logic and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
