We have an opportunity for aFinance Services Team Leaderto join our Finance Shared Services team.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Undertake the duties assigned as outlined in the relevant Finance Services duty statements. Task will be assigned in adherence to separation of duties guidelines based on workload requirements
- Coordination of workload and workflow within the assigned team including communicating directly with stakeholders resolving issues and escalating to the Manager as required
- Complete approvals internal audit tasks and monthly checklists as required by GHD guidelines
- In consultation with Finance Services Manager implement monitor and provide constructive feedback on new systems and processes to support the function as required
- Prepare system and process instructions and documentation as required
- Adhere to team budget guidance provided
- Assist the Manager on other tasks or projects as required provide ongoing feedback and complete team member performance reviews in compliance with GHD guidelines and within required deadlines
- Provide training and mentoring of new team members in all policies and procedures
Skills and experience:
- Bachelors Degree in any Finance-related course
- Minimum of 5 years work experiencein accounting shared services/BPO environment with intermediate (to complex) ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle BST10 etc)
- Has managed or been involved in simple or complex process improvement initiatives either as a team member or team leader
- 5 years experience working in a global organization with large ERP systems
- Ability to successfully communicate business requirements to multiple audiences e.g. IT operations clients etc. and translate feedback into actionable information via various communications as well as reports KPIs and data analysis
- Experience in a similar role or broad finance and transactional processing responsibilities
Work schedule:Monday to Friday / 7 AM to 4 PM / Hybrid (3x a week onsite)
