About the Role

  • We invite you to join us in a part time (up to 0.5FTE 18.75hrs per week) Advanced Trainee RMO Role within Te Whatu Ora Southern. This role will be in partnership with an academic O&G role with University of Otago.
    The primary objective of the Te Whatu Ora Southern role is the provision of comprehensive experience and training in abortion care. Out of hours duties will provide experience in general Obstetrics and Gynaecology .
    The academic role offers opportunities to fulfil the RANZCOG academic ATM and your personal RANZCOG research requirements. We recognise the importance of evidence-based practise and the role research plays in advancing the field of obstetrics and gynaecology. By engaging in research and academic pursuits you will contribute to the growth of knowledge in this vital area of healthcare.
