Job Description

In the dynamic role of an Account Director - Global Franchise you will assume a pivotal position in the organization where youll be tasked with the comprehensive management and cultivation of relationships with the largest lodging and accommodation providers globally. Your responsibilities will span the entire spectrum of the accounts journey commencing with the initial sales phases and extending through to deployment and continuous account management. This multifaceted role requires a blend of strategic thinking client-centric approach and cross-functional collaboration.

Your primary duty as an Account Director - Global Franchise is to collaborate closely with various cross-functional teams to orchestrate and oversee the flawless execution of customer account plans and playbooks for success. This involves developing a deep understanding of your clients unique needs and business objectives and tailoring solutions that meet and exceed their expectations. Additionally you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities within the account which may involve expanding services introducing new products or uncovering untapped areas for collaboration.

In this role your strategic prowess will be invaluable in driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction as you build and foster long-term partnerships with our enterprise clients. Your ability to navigate the complexities of large-scale accounts and your commitment to delivering exceptional service will be the linchpin in achieving mutual success for both our organization and our valued clients. The role will require you to take a structured approach to executing success through clear frameworks and proven methodologies.

Your mission should you choose to accept it

  • Create the customer account plan and playbook for unlocking a new or expanding a partnership for continued success
  • Analyze partner tech ecosystems to tailor our solutions to their needs.
  • Develop marketing strategies industry marketing PR industry event participation and Account-Based Marketing.
  • Lead outreach efforts to headquarters and regional hubs coordinating property-level outreach.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive discovery program and Connectivity/Tech Assessment.
  • Manage the RFI process and assist in contract negotiations.
  • Devise SOW for pilot and rollout programs and oversee KYC.
  • Ensure successful pilot and deployment phases and organize a launch roadshow.
  • Conduct QBR and monthly calls.
  • Develop and execute account action plans.
  • Provide regular reporting to clients on key performance indicators and results.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and promote product adoption.
  • Assist clients in expanding their use of Mews solutions.
  • Act as a point of contact for issue escalation and resolution.
  • Stay updated on product releases and manage integration into client systems.
  • Share best practices insights and product knowledge with clients.
  • Monitor and assist in the collection of unpaid invoices.
  • Collaborate with partners and manage the connectivity and technology aspect of client solutions.

Youll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

  • Native or fluent English proficiency required
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise-level account management and/or commercial sales with a proven track record of success managing global franchise-level accounts within the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in hotel tech in either a farming or hunting role with a deep understanding of hotel operations and SaaS ways of working. Brings strong industry knowledge and the ability to align hospitality tech solutions with the operational realities of hotels.
  • Exceptional communication negotiation influencing and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and build trust with senior leadership and key decision-makers internally and externally.
  • Hyper organised with strong project management skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Problem-solving skills commercial awareness and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable with travelling (EMEA region) once a month.
