Position Overview:


The Warehouse Associate Lead is a senior associate position in Spirits Warehouse operations. This full-time on-site role is responsible for overseeing and performing daily warehouse activities guiding a team of Warehouse Associates and ensuring efficient inventory management and order fulfillment. The Warehouse Associate Lead plays a crucial role maintaining high standards of accuracy productivity and safety in the handling of microelectronics semiconductors and EEE components. The Warehouse Associate Lead supports the Warehouse Manager in operational efficiency procedural compliance operational controls and team mentorship.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of Warehouse Associates providing guidance in tasks and performance
  • Train new Warehouse Associates in company procedures safety protocols and best practices
  • Oversee receiving storage and shipping processes for electronic components and materials
  • Perform receiving and outgoing inspections to Quality standards and customer requirements
  • Manage inventory levels conduct regular audits and resolve discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems and warehouse management software
  • Coordinate with other departments (Quality Purchasing Sales) to ensure smooth operations
  • Develop and optimize warehouse layout and processes for improved efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and safety standards
  • Monitor and maintain proper handling procedures for sensitive electronic components including ESD protocols and verifications
  • Lead cycle counting initiatives and full inventory reconciliations
  • Prepare and submit daily reports on warehouse activities productivity issues and procedures
  • Assist in forecasting warehouse team needs and scheduling
  • Communicate with the Warehouse team to support goals address concerns and promote continuous improvement
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Perform and optimize work orders and value-added operations
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to set and achieve departmental goals
  • Handle escalated issues related to inventory shipping or customer inquiries
  • Support relationships with warehouse materials suppliers and shipping providers
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Associates degree in logistics supply chain management or related field; bachelors degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software
  • Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards particularly related to electronic components
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite especially Excel
  • Experience with AS9100 quality management MIL-STD requirements or other relevant industry standards is a plus
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of electronic components and handling requirements including ESD controls
