We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in the cutting-edge field of High-Speed Packet Processing. As a Data Engineer you will play a critical role in designing developing and maintaining our Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering product and operations you will be responsible for enhancing existing functionalities identifying bottlenecks and creating innovative solutions to ensure seamless data processing and produce insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Research identify and prototype new solutions that enhance existing capabilities or provide new opportunities
Design develop test and improve software based on best practices ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
Work with the product manager software engineers and stakeholders to build solutions and gain novel insights to complex problems
Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 1 year of software development experience in C/C and/or Python. Relevant project or internship experience will be considered for fresh graduates.
Nice-to-haves
Experience in working with network protocols and tools/libraries (Wireshark and Intel DPDK).
Familiar with DPI engines such as Snort and Suricata
Familiar with Linux programming
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or similar.
Considerations for Senior Positions
Candidates with at least 4 years of experience in high-speed packet processing
Proven experience in the design and implementation of data compute-intensive systems.
Experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers
