Roles & Responsibilities:
Modelling of New Products Annual Model Enhancements and Maintenance
- Ensure new products modeled into Prophet adhere to BNMs submitted product documentation and the basis.
- Ensure model enhancements/assumption updates are in line with documentation from the valuation team.
- Ensure proper documentation and checking.
Independent Model Validation
- Perform independent model validation.
- Ensure proper documentation of the validation and findings.
Valuation Data Processing
- Prepare reconciliation file from raw data to model point files and from model point files to Prophet output.
- Generate the model point files.
- Perform valuation data UAT for bug fix and enhancement
- Liaise with respective teams for ad-hoc data requests and/or valuation data enhancements.
Prophet Administration
- Liaise with IT regarding the Prophet cloud server and Prophet license server.
- Provide support to various actuarial teams for Prophet related issues.
Data and Modelling Support
- Support the alignment of experience study methodology with actuarial financial projection methodology.
- Provide support for data and model-related queries.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Actuarial Science or other quantitative discipline.
Preferred to have passed at least 2 professional actuarial examinations.
Knowledge in Prophet DCS Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and SQL.
Curious self-driven independent great attention to details problem solver and work well with others.
Good spoken/written communication skill.
Fresh graduates with actuarial internship experience or are encouraged to apply.
