Technical Leader
We are seeking a Technical Leader to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Technical Leader at Marsh you will be responsible for guiding and coordinating technical teams in a global environment ensuring the delivery of innovative and high-quality solutions.
We will count on you to:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient software architectures using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain applications using Java and the MEAN stack ensuring best coding practices and quality standards.
- Facilitate collaboration among global teams promoting effective communication and alignment of objectives.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of technical teams ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
- Foster a collaborative and continuous learning work environment mentoring team members and promoting professional development
What you need to have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong experience with AWS including services such as EC2 S3 Lambda or RDS.
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and its implementation in production environments.
- Proficiency in MEAN stack with experience in developing web and mobile applications and some experience in Java.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project managemen
- Advanced Level of English is a Must
