Room Leader Level 3 Qualified Up to 28000 - 40 Hours per week

Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner ready to take the next step in your career Were looking for a passionate and motivated Room Leader to join our clients nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) who thrives on responsibility enjoys leading others and is committed to helping children flourish in a safe stimulating and nurturing environment.

As a Room Leader youll play a key role in supporting both children and colleagues creating inspiring learning opportunities ensuring the highest standards of care and guiding your team to deliver excellent practice every day.

What Were Looking For

  • Level 3 in Early Years Education (or equivalent qualification).
  • Previous experience in a nursery early years or childcare setting (leadership experience desirable).
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
  • A genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and wellbeing.
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training).
  • Confident proactive and team-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire your room team to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
  • Plan deliver and evaluate creative age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
  • Support mentor and guide practitioners to ensure best practice.
  • Build positive trusting relationships with children parents and colleagues.
  • Observe assess and record childrens progress supporting their individual learning journeys.
  • Work closely with parents and carers to share updates on childrens development.
  • Ensure safeguarding health & safety and nursery policies are always followed.
