About the Role
Are you passionate about driving innovation in investment solutions and building trusted relationships with Japans top financial institutions As a Vice President in our Institutional Client Business team youll play a key role in expanding the reach of our market-leading index investment strategies across banks insurers asset managers and official institutions.
This is a senior client-facing role that blends strategic sales leadership with deep market insight. Youll collaborate with global and regional teams to deliver impactful solutions while cultivating long-term partnerships with sophisticated institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Head of Client Business to grow iShares institutional footprint in Japan delivering on revenue and adoption targets.
Act as a senior relationship manager deepening engagement with key institutional clients and identifying new business opportunities.
Collaborate across BlackRocks Japan Institutional Client Business and global ETF teams to unlock cross-platform synergies.
Represent iShares at client meetings industry events and seminarsdelivering compelling presentations and thought leadership.
Localize and implement global best practices to meet the unique needs of the Japanese market.
What Were Looking For
5 years of experience in institutional sales or business development with a strong network across banks insurers and asset managers in Japan.
Deep understanding of investment products especially index strategies equities fixed income and structured solutions.
Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across complex organizations.
Familiarity with Japans financial regulatory environment and market dynamics.
2nd Grade Securities Broker Representative License required.
Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn internal tools like Aladdin.
