Job Description
KITE Search are currently working with one of the prestigious property developers based in Hong Kong & China. As a brand they are synonymous for developing and managing premium assets in The Greater Bay region. Upon recent business expansion they are looking for a Director of Construction & Engineering to be responsible for construction & engineering management for the Group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and coordinate large and/or complex commercial and hotel projects through all phases of design permitting and construction.
- Provides leadership forsite project management function by managing coordinating and developing staff and third party project managers.
- Operates with significant independence and minimal supervision as the principal project representative.
- Will meet regularly with board of directors senior managementand with other top executives.
- Focus on technical aspects of the project as well as the coordination of contractors and service providers of the project.
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines
- 25 years of post-qualification project management experience
- Familiar with Hong Kong & Macaus relevant ordinances
- Professional qualification / Chartered
- Demonstrated experience in full cycle project delivery of large-scale mixed use & hospitality development projects
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build a team and lead from the front
- Fluency in English & Cantonese are essential
