Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Are you a strategic business-minded CFO ready to take the financial helm of a growing company At Dayton T. Brown Inc. were looking for a visionary financial leader to join our executive team in Bohemia NY. This is your opportunity to directly impact the success of our three core divisions-Engineering and Test Technical Services and Mission Systems-and shape our next phase of growth. Your Impact:
- Be a Strategic Partner: Work directly with the CEO and President to develop and execute financial strategies that fuel our growth.
- Lead with Vision: Oversee all financial management from strategic planning and forecasting to cash flow and risk management.
- Navigate Complexities: Apply your expertise in government contracting (DCAA) and commercial regulations to ensure flawless compliance and financial health.
- Build a Team: Lead and mentor our finance and accounting teams fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Who Were Looking For:
- A strategic CFO or senior financial leader with a proven track record.
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
- CPA certification required.
- Strong understanding and experience with government accounting including DCAA regulations.
- Expertise in data analysis forecasting and strategic problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Exceptional leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain a top secret clearance
