About Organization
Rakuten Mobiles Portfolio Management Section is responsible for portfolio prioritization and to drive strategic initiatives with cross-platform activities by leading the centralized team of project/ program managers.
Drives and manages the cross domain BU governance and communication.
Job duties
Deliver highly complex cross functional projects/programs with in and outsourced staff across entire Rakuten Mobile
Ensure project delivery excellence by continuously monitoring project management proactively identifying recurring issues and defining action plans for resolution
Adhere to highest project delivery standards artifacts as part of the Rakuten Project Management Methodology
Manage project timelines deliverables and stakeholders
Provide regular status updates escalations maintain RAID logs highlight and manage risks
Manage project vendor communication local and remote across different time zones
Minimum Qualification
PMP / PRINCE2 certification or relevant equivalent
3 years experience managing projects reporting to senior management
Preferred Qualification
Experience working on Telecom Radio access or Core projects
Japanese language - at least JLPT N2
