What youll do

In this role you will collaborate within a cutting-edge global team to support data-driven projects. Your responsibilities will span the end-to-end data lifecycle leveraging AI technologies to enhance efficiency:

• Data Processing & Analysis: Clean transform and analyze large-scale datasets; develop automated pipelines for structured/unstructured data.
• AI Tool Implementation: Apply machine learning libraries and generative AI tools to optimize data tasks.
• Insight Generation: Visualize data trends and deliver actionable reports to stakeholders.
• Process Optimization: Document workflows and propose AI-enhanced solutions for data quality and efficiency.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineers and product teams to deploy data solutions.

You will drive results with proactive ownership continuously exploring emerging AI/ML technologies to build scalable data services.

What you bring

• Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science or related fields (in progress).
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Python programming for data manipulation.
  • SQL for database querying.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
• AI/ML Aptitude: Understanding of machine learning concepts and hands-on exposure to AI frameworks.
• Analytical Rigor: Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to data accuracy.
• Agile Learner: Ability to rapidly master new tools (e.g. cloud platforms).
• Communication: Professional fluency in English (written/spoken); adept at translating technical insights for non-technical audiences.
• Tools: Advanced MS Excel (macros pivot tables) collaborative platforms (Jira).

Preferred

• Experience on translation tools and translation process automation tools such as SDL Trados Studio XTM Rigi is a plus.
• Knowledge of NLP techniques or generative AI applications in data contexts is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI-based machine translation is a plus

SAP Globalization - Language Experience (LX) provides translation translation-related services and language technology for all of SAPs products. We enable SAP and SAPs customers to enter global markets with high-quality multilingual products solutions marketing internal and external communications as well as training and product support content. We provide consulting develop and make use of advanced translation technology and automation to minimize cost for SAP and maximize consistency and quality. We handle translation of more than 10 billion words per year into 69 languages from 17 locations. We work with 80 translation agencies worldwide and are supported by 2000 translators.
